The fifth annual AgTech Nexus USA brought conversations on agtech to Chicago.
The conference brought together an international group of investors, agribusiness executives, agtech entrepreneurs and farmers with a spotlight on the rapidly growing agriculture technology market. One of the issues addressed was the need to rethink a path to technology adoption in the sector. Agtech advisor, Jonah Kolb, pointed out that while the technology is already contributing to agriculture, the adoption challenge remains. Overcoming this challenge requires a new mindset towards tech investment in more integrated systems and solution-oriented offerings.
